Sleepless Nocturne The Animation – Episode 1

The two masterpieces from the legendary studio Empress — “SLEEPLESS” and its sequel “SLEEPLESS Nocturne” — have finally received their official animated adaptation!

The story follows Tomoki Kawai and Yukino Komori, a young university couple enjoying the sweet, early days of their romance. During a drive to an unfamiliar location, their car suddenly breaks down, forcing them to seek refuge in an ancient, imposing mansion looming in the distance.

The estate is none other than the “Black Rose Hall,” a secluded Western-style villa hidden deep within the mountains. The young lovers are blissfully unaware that from the very moment they stepped through those gates, they became the helpless prey for a twisted banquet of depravity and carnal desire waiting behind closed doors.

As the night unfolds, the “hospitality” of the mansion’s residents reveals a dark, insatiable hunger that threatens to shatter the couple’s bond and plunge them into a world of irreversible corruption.
