Synopsis:
Ryou Fujihashi awakens to a living nightmare as her apartment is suddenly engulfed in a raging sea of fire. Trapped amidst the life-threatening blaze with no clear escape, a panicked Ryou tries everything to make noise and signal her neighbors for help. Fortunately, the emergency is reported, and she is rescued just in time by the local fire department.
In a dramatic twist of fate, one of the brave firefighters on the scene turns out to be Souma Mizuno, her childhood friend. Ryou once harbored feelings for Souma, but that spark quickly faded due to his notorious reputation as a playboy. Now, left completely homeless in the wake of the disaster, Ryou has no choice but to temporarily move into Souma’s apartment.
Living under the same roof with her old friend forces Ryou to establish strict boundaries—especially physical ones—knowing all too well that letting her guard down could easily land her in his arms. However, faced with Souma’s relentless and passionate pursuit, Ryou gradually realizes that the embers of desire between them are being reignited into a roaring flame.
Yet, being close to Souma also means Ryou is constantly introduced to the other attractive, athletic colleagues in his firefighting squad. Even though Souma’s heart belongs entirely to Ryou, will she be able to keep her own heart from straying under the weight of such intense charm?
